1. Introduction & Company Information

Welcome to Prestige Routes (athenstaxivan.com). These Terms and Conditions govern the private transport, transfer, and tour services provided by our fully licensed Athens Taxi Vans operating in Athens, Greece. By requesting a quote, initiating communication, or confirming a booking with us via WhatsApp, email, or our website contact forms, you explicitly agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Regulated Metered Pricing & Estimates

  • Taximeter Regulation: In strict accordance with Greek transportation legislation, all our specialized vehicles are legally equipped with official calibrated taximeters. All final fares for transfers, custom tours, and day excursions are calculated based on the official government-regulated taxi rates active at the time of the journey.
  • Upfront Estimates: Any pricing figures mentioned on this website or communicated during our text message/email exchanges are strictly non-binding, highly accurate upfront estimates based on standard traffic conditions and routes. The final amount displayed on the vehicle's taximeter may vary due to unexpected road congestion, severe traffic gridlocks, route modifications requested by the passenger, or additional waiting times.
  • Official Legal Surcharges: Mandatory state surcharges such as highway toll fees, airport terminal access fees, port entrance fees, and heavy luggage surcharges are added to the final metered fare as mandated by Greek law.

3. Bookings & Confirmation

All service requests are initiated directly via our website forms or WhatsApp chat.

A booking request is considered officially confirmed only after you receive a direct reply or text confirmation from George or Tassos explicitly locking your requested date, pickup time, and dedicated vehicle slot.

4. Flight Monitoring & Waiting Time

  • Complimentary Flight Tracking: We actively monitor all incoming commercial flights in real-time. If your flight is delayed or arrives earlier than scheduled, your driver will adjust their arrival time accordingly with no additional penalty or stress.
  • Waiting Window: We provide a complimentary waiting window of up to 45 minutes after your flight has officially landed. If you encounter severe delays at customs, border control, or baggage claim, you are required to notify us immediately via WhatsApp. Unnotified delays exceeding 45 minutes may result in a standard waiting-time fee or the necessary cancellation of the transfer without any company liability.

5. Luggage & Passenger Capacity

  • Passenger Limits: Our Mercedes Vans are strictly licensed to carry a maximum of 8 passengers. Under no legal circumstances can we transport more individuals than this regulated limit.
  • Luggage Capacity: The maximum designated luggage luggage capacity per vehicle is specifically built to accommodate up to 8 large suitcases (checked luggage) and 8 small suitcases (carry-ons) simultaneously.
  • Oversized Items: It is the passenger's absolute responsibility to inform us prior to pickup if the group carries oversized items (e.g., surfboards, professional bike boxes, heavy golf clubs, or baby strollers) so we can ensure everything fits safely within the premium storage compartment.

6. Child Safety Seats

We deeply prioritize family safety on the road and offer premium, age-appropriate ISOFIX child safety seats (infant, toddler, or booster seats) completely free of charge.

These safety seats must be explicitly requested during the initial booking conversation, detailing the child's approximate weight or age. For legal and liability reasons, parents or legal guardians are responsible for verifying that the seat is perfectly suited and the child is safely buckled before departure.

7. Passenger Conduct & Vehicle Damage

  • Smoking, vaping, and the consumption of illicit substances are strictly prohibited inside our vehicles at all times.
  • Passengers are required to maintain respectable and safe conduct. We reserve the absolute right to refuse transport service to any individual under the influence of extreme alcohol or substances who exhibits aggressive behavior or poses a clear safety risk to the driver.
  • Any severe, intentional, or negligent damage caused to the vehicle's premium interior, upholstery, or electronic equipment by a passenger will be charged directly to the client for the full cost of professional restoration, specialized detailing, or repair.

8. Cancellations & Modifications

We understand that travel schedules can shift rapidly. Because we operate based on mutual respect and transparent quotes without enforcing rigid upfront deposits for standard transfers, we kindly ask that you notify us of any cancellations or itinerary modifications at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled pickup directly via WhatsApp.

9. Limitation of Liability

While we guarantee maximum punctuality, elite routing, and rigorous planning, Prestige Routes cannot be held legally liable for delays, missed flights, or missed cruise departures caused by extreme circumstances entirely beyond our control (force majeure). This includes, but is not limited to: major highway multi-car accidents, sudden road blockages, severe weather conditions, national transport strikes, or unannounced political demonstrations in the center of Athens.

10. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by, interpreted, and construed in strict accordance with the national transport and commercial laws of Greece. Any legal disputes or claims arising directly from our transport services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Athens, Greece.
